This series of lectures is available on the www, including text slides, photos, diagrams, and speaker’s notes at the above addresses. The version on the permanent site may be updated and expanded from time to time. The speaker’s notes included with the web-based version of these lectures include a selective bibliography of relevant literature and sources for illustrations. The only exclusions in the web-based versions is that I have omitted some pre-publication illustrations from colleagues, and the material on simulating landform evolution on Mars is already available on my web site.
I have had difficulty in assessing just how much material I can cover in the time that I have allotted for these lectures. I may have to skip parts of the presentation or move hurriedly through some material. The web version, however, will have all the material I have prepared.
Because the full set of material is available on-line, I hope that you will feel free to interrupt my presentation to ask questions or ask for elaboration.
